Article: "10 Ways to Avoid Playground Lawsuits"

Public school systems and parks departments employ full-time attorneys to handle playground liability issues. But private schools, daycares, religious organizations, and homeowners' associations aren't so lucky. And there's not much information available about the legal aspects of owning a playground. For a good start, look at "10 Ways to Avoid Playground Lawsuits," a new article that appears on the website of Maryland Materials, a national retailer and installer of playground equipment. As a licensed attorney and a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), I wrote the article to help small business owners keep children safe on their playgrounds while protecting their own interests.
